We are always looking for people who can lend their creative talents to “Simply Panda Jenn.“ Art, ideas… anything!

I like to try and keep the site updated on a regular basis, though that can get pretty hard when you’re as busy as I am. So, if there are any people out there who are interested in lending a helping paw to help keep this place hiatus free, then please read on!

How it works

If you volunteer to draw a comic for SPJ, I will send you a prewritten script and anything else you might need. All you have to do at that point is draw the comic exactly as I have written it in the script. You will need to have the comic completed and sent by the given deadline. Normally, I will add the word bubbles and text myself, but if you want to do that too, then that’s fine.

Rules and guidelines

If you are interested in drawing a comic or writing a script, please contact me before you do anything.

This comic is strictly rated PG, so let’s keep it that way.

If you want to draw a comic, you will be asked to provide a sample of your artwork.

It can be anything from CG, to black and white ink, Colored pencils or even just a sketch. All that I ask is that the lines and images are clean and people can make out what the characters are doing and saying.

Do not post the comic on your site or gallery until it has been posted on this site.

The comic must be completed and sent to me by the deadline given. If you are unable to complete a comic by the deadline, then please tell me right away. I will be happy to make an extension if you need it.

If you are unable to finish a comic at all, then you need to tell me right away so I have time to find a replacement artist.

If I do not hear from you within three days after the deadline, I will send you a reminder E-mail. You will have at least one week to respond before I find a replacement.

When you send me the finished comic, please send me your name (or screen name) so you will get the proper credit for your work.

I love doing cameos with other people’s characters, but it really will depend on the character and if they fit in with my comic. It’s something that I am definitely open to discuss though.
