  • Comic Questions

Will Simply Panda Jenn ever be published?

I would like to publish some comics and children’s books based around the SPJ characters, yes.

Can I use Panda Jenn in my comic, fic or artwork?

Please contact me with your idea or project and if I like it, I’ll be happy to discuss it further

    Why only monthly updates?

Updating only once a month is easier and less overwhelming. Not just for me but for the other artists as well I’m sure.

Where do you get your ideas?

Well as Catena creator, Tracey Bailey, once told me, “Once you have your characters down, the stories pretty much write themselves.”

It also never hurts to use things based on your own real life experiences: people, places, memories, events… you’d be amazed at how much inspiration you can find in the simplest of places.

Why don't you draw your own comic?

Creating a comic is very time consuming and since I don’t have as much free time as I use to, sometimes I require a little assistance.

    Why are there different artists?

It’s difficult to find one reliable artist that can handle doing a comic full time. I find that it’s easier to have lots of other artists on hand just in case. I’m hoping to get something more official set up soon. If you are interested in becoming a fulltime artist for Simply Panda Jenn, you can find out more on the help wanted section.

Can I do a guest comic?

As I mentioned above, I am happy to accept help from other artists. Please go to the help wanted page for more info.
