Hello, if you don’t already know my name is Jenn and I am a panda… actually I’m a panda/grizzly mix.

I grew up in a small country town in southern California called Winchester. I live there currently in an apartment with my two roommates Cody Polar Bear and Bridget Bunny.

Pandas are not at all as aggressive as the media has made them out to look. In fact, we are very gentle and shy creatures. I can’t really say that I’m like most pandas since I have been known to be a tad temperamental and anything but shy. That has got to be the grizzly in me. And unlike other pandas, I will eat meat. Not that I don’t enjoy snacking on a stick of bamboo every now and then either.

Ever since I was very young, I've enjoyed art. My favorite is cartooning and illustration. Another hobby I enjoy is gardening. It's good to have a relaxing hobby, especially when you have roommates like Cody and Bridget!

Family

My family is very small. My mom, Kalena Panda, divorced when I was still a young cub, so I honestly couldn’t tell you much about my dad since I don’t really remember him. Mom never talks about him accept when she says, “The less I remember about him, the better.” She never did remarry, and I don’t think she has any intentions to in the future.

Onto my grandparents. Well… now their story is an interesting one. My grandpa, George Grizzly, was an American pilot in World War II. He was flying over China when his plain was suddenly shot down. Thankfully, he survived. He was taken to the nearest med clinic where he would recover. It was there he met my grandma Lin, who was a Chinese nurse. When my grandpa was sent home on discharge, he brought his new love back to Winchester with him, where they would live the rest of their lives.

Job

I currently work as an assent gardener at a local nursery owned by my good friend Ezekiel O’ Possum. Not very many people can say that they actually look forward to getting up for work in the morning, but I sure can. Zeek was nice enough to hire me after I was fired from my old waitressing job at the coffee house.
