Age: 23
Birthday: November 12th
Birth Place: Juneau, Alaska
Species: Polar Bear
Marital status: Single
Hobbies: Extreme sports, and playing video games.
My childhood friend and roommate, Cody is very much the opposite of me. He is very laid back and lives life by the seat of his pants. He loves extreme sports. His dream has always been to be a pro snowboarder.
When he was a cub, he and his family lived in Alaska, then moved to Winchester when he was a little older. He and his family moved in across the street from us, which of course was how we met. We’ve been best friends ever since.
He misses Alaska very much, especially the snow. He would like to go back one day but feels conflicted about leaving his friends and family behind.
He isn’t the most dependable one in the group. He’s always goofing off or playing mean practical jokes, usually on me! I’m use to it however, and I always get him back. *wink*
Family
Cody has a big family. His father Paul, his mother Paula, and his three siblings Connie, Cory and Casey.
Cody’s dad Paul worked in a Fish Factory in Alaska. It wasn’t much, but it was enough to support his wife and two kids. Then when Paula became pregnant with the twins, Cory and Casey, it was decided that they would move to California where Paul could find better job opportunities. Just as they had planed, Paul found another factory job, then later moved onto advertising as a web assistant/programmer. Meanwhile, Paula is a stay-at-home mom. Polar bear mothers are known for being very protective of their cubs, and Paula is no exception. While Paul may seem like the dominate male, Paula is the true judge and executioner. She isn’t quite as easygoing as her husband.
Connie is the oldest of the four siblings. She lives in Orange County with her husband, Andrew. She has the ultimate, spoiled rotten, diva mentality. I honestly don’t know how Andrew puts up with her. If she shows any compassion at all for someone other then herself or her husband then I’d sure like to see it.
Cory and Casey are a completely different story. Of all the siblings, including Cody, they are really the easiest to get along with. Cory can be mischievous, especially when he gets his pet snake Luther involved in his antics, but all and all he’s a good kid. Casey is just a model citizen, plain and simple! She’s the best behaved seven-year-old I’ve ever met. The kid idolizes me more then she does Connie. (Not that Connie cares I’m sure.) If you can’t tell already, Connie and I don’t get along very well. Heh.
Job
It’s hard to imagine Cody working, but he has to pay his half of the rent somehow, right? He use to work at the same restaurant as me until he was fired for playing “flatware football.” …Please don’t ask. He has a difficult time holding a job. Even his dad won’t bother getting him a job at the add agency. I think he’s grown up a bit since his last job. At least he’s managed to keep the one he has now. He is currently working at the video store with Bridget.
